Job Description

Job Responsibilities 

  • Operations Management to ensure safe and reliable operations in assigned Business Unit
    • Responsible for implementation of policies, procedures, and processes as directed by senior management for efficiency in assigned business unit operations
    • Responsible for effective management of site risks including the application of tools to recognize and minimize risk.
    • Identification and implementation of actions and initiatives to continually improve and strengthen the barriers/safeguards to operational risk
    • Engagement with key stakeholders (site management, suppliers and service providers, customers, government and other authorities, regulatory bodies, contract staff, etc.) for delivery of safe, reliable, and compliant operations and high-quality fuels
    • Implementation of technology solutions throughout business units for sustaining value the proposition in the most cost-effective manner
  • Budget Control and Cost optimization to deliver maximum throughput within the budget
    • Responsible for optimal planning and deployment of resources in day to day operations
    • Cost control through monitoring of expenses to maximize the profitability of the business unit
    • Identify & eliminate imprudent business practices to improve site profitability
    • Ensure timely implementation of planned maintenance schedules in the business units
    • Ensure NIL penalty/charges on account of delayed payments to vendors/contractors or deviation from operating procedures 
  • Commissioning and stabilization of operations for all new facilities
    • Coordinate with the Projects team for mechanical completion of new / augmentation facility.
    • Obtain all statutory approvals and permits for new facilities before pre-commissioning audits
    • Participate in audit activities ensuring regulatory/statutory compliances for site
    • Implement QA/QC, Operations, HSSE activities as per SOP#s & business processes
  • Drive operational excellence across all units of the Business
    • Direct supervision & monitoring of operations at the assigned business unit. 
    • To ensure daily QC and routine inspections of facilities without deviations
    • To mentor & guide new unit staff on business operations to ensure compliances to SOP's
    • Strict adherence to safe business practices by unit staff as guided by SOPs/operations manuals
    • To maintain all Operating manuals, statutory approvals, and other compliances including record-keeping in line with management guidelines. Ensure timely renewal of licenses & approvals
    • Ensure product losses are under control and within targets. 
    • Daily maintenance of MIS and for reporting stock losses/sales data/customer feedbacks etc

Role Accountabilities:

  • The Wild Bean Café Stand Alone Supervisor is accountable for roll out and co ordination operation of Wild Bean Cafes at non RO locations He/ she will also be responsible for ensuring compliance to Indian government requirements and BP Global’s food safety requirements related to Wild Bean Café operations
  • Co ordinate implementation of audits across the store network and supply chain
  • Conduct quarterly quality reviews of internal audits and conduct verification where required
  • Raise the level of awareness of food safety and quality across the network of non RO locations
  • Act as operational liaison between the franchisees and convenience team for non RO locations
  • Manage the resolution of non compliance issues from franchisees
  • Assess risk and provide immediate feedback to ensure brand integrity protection
  • Execute customer complaint process timeously answer quality and food safety related customer complaints
  • Respond and resolve quality related incidents, e g customer complaints, product rejection and product recalls 
  • Conduct relevant training across the non RO Wild Bean Café locations
  • Regularly visit stores to ensure that standards are maintained
  • Respond quickly to relevant issues raised by stores or the field teams
  • Ensures full compliance with all functional and HSSE standards applicable to Wild Bean Cafes at non
  • RO outlets, with a focus on food safety

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience of food and beverage service in a retail or FMCG environment
  • Strong experience in managing 3 rd party supplier relationships and negotiations experience essential
  • A sound working knowledge of the Indian Food Law In depth knowledge of food supply chain operations
  • Proven analytical, problem solving and process ability Hospitality or Hotel Management experience
  • Minimum of 4 5 years relevant experience
